What devices are required to use FleetOnAir?
It depends on the selected package and data source. Fleet Starter does not require any devices to be installed in the vehicle. With Fleet Tracker, location data can come from devices supplied by FleetOnAir, compatible devices already used by the customer or, where supported, directly from vehicle manufacturers through OEM integrations. We offer plug-and-play OBD trackers for passenger cars as well as wired devices for permanent installation. Hardware can be purchased or rented.
Do I need to sign a long-term contract?
The cooperation model depends on the selected solution. Fleet Starter is available on a flexible subscription basis. For Fleet Tracker/CAN, the standard contract term is 36 months when the cost of the device is included in the subscription. We confirm the detailed terms before the start of the cooperation.
Are there any one-time fees?
Plug-and-play OBD devices can be installed by the customer — we provide instructions and support during the system setup. Wired devices, CAN configurations and more advanced installations are handled by our certified installation partners and are charged separately. For larger or non-standard implementations, implementation work and integrations with the customer’s systems may also be priced separately.
How are payments billed?
The subscription is billed monthly or annually, depending on the selected option. Payments can be made by bank transfer or card. Detailed billing rules, including changes in the number of vehicles, depend on the selected cooperation model.
Is a free trial or demo available?
Yes. You can test FleetOnAir as part of a 30-day trial on selected vehicles. If needed, we can also provide test devices. You can also schedule a live product demo with our team.
Does the same pricing apply to larger fleets?
For larger fleets, we prepare an individual quote. Pricing takes into account the number of vehicles, selected modules, the way vehicle data is sourced, and the scope of implementation and integrations.
Are GPS devices covered by a warranty?
Yes. GPS devices supplied by FleetOnAir are covered by a 24-month manufacturer’s warranty. If a device develops a fault covered by the warranty, we repair or replace it. Devices supplied by the customer are subject to the warranty terms of their manufacturer or supplier.
